El Rio thinks of themselves as a mix between a bar and a community centre. El Rio has two indoor spaces and an outdoor patio with heaters.
They do live (big band and acoustic) and dj music, film and art showings, comedy, drag, spoken word, jams, burlesque and fundraisers to no end.
