London Hotel Guide 2024

Where to stay in London

The most popular area to stay is Soho. Here you find Oxford street, which is the main shopping street, many restaurants, the West End theatre district and of course the gay bars and clubs on Old Compton street and surrounding areas.

Hotels in London centre are quite expensive. We prefer a hotel on walking distance of Soho, as in the weekends taxis are very hard to find in Soho. There is a very good 24hour bus system, but to find the right stop after too many pints is sometimes a bit difficult!

Check out the hotel suggestions on this page or use our online hotel and venue map to find a hotel near the gay places. Enter arrival and departure dates to see actual prices and hotel availability.
